My fath er in law has self acquired property in hydrabad worth Rs 1.50 crore. He is a retired man now with wife and has only one daughter (already married 16 years ago). Though he is ready to gift the property to his daughter the registration of deed involves considerable amount. My mother in law is also willing to the transaction as the daughter is the only legal heir. Now problem is
His sisters ( all are married and well settled) are trying to ask a share in the property and they are capable of getting his sign on blank papers which can be used at a later date. My father in law has lot of affection for his sisters and in a moment of weakness he may sign the papers without realising the implication.
How to secure the property in my wife's name and what could be the implications of blank papers signed by my father in law ? Whether a will is enough ? Pl advise
