Foul play in performance assessment

Hi,

The performance assessment for our project was done on april 2012. We need to get feedback from our supervisors and get ratings based on that. Our hike, promotion etc are based on this rating. I was in a project till February 2012. My feedback was to be taken from this projects supervisor who has also left that that project. He gave me a feedback on April 20th. we had a discussion on the feedback and the matter was settled. The last day for the feedbacks was april 30th. The current manager of the project asked for my feedbacks on April 30th and i sent it to him. Suddenly on 1st May my feedback was drastically changed. It was a complete negative feedback. I can be terminated with this feedback. I dont know how they can change my feedback in 10 daysfor a project i left 2 months before. Can i take some legal action against this?

It is felt that you should report the matter to good offices of your appointing authority,MD,Chairman with a copy to Head-HR with copy of original feedback and altered feedback.

It is time to look for suitable opportunity with a qood company having good HR practices and have better position and package.

Thanks for your reply. I have taken it upto the HR. They are not responding. I just want to hold on till i get into a good organization.

It shall be appropriate to attach both original and altered copy with email sent to HR.
