Divorce

My friend( Amjad Khan ) got married in 2012. his wife is having some Psychological problems that why he want to give divorce to her. But his wife & wife paents dont aggree to this. because of this they file a false dowry & other other cases on 2013. he came out through bail. now how can he divorce his wife. His lawyer said that by saying talaq infront & by paying mehar amount he can get divorce( means withour his wis permission or acceptenance for divorce) ? is it true?after this he get out of this case na? Please advice

@ Lavanya - looks like you friend likes to get rid of her wife by hook or crook.false or true dowry case needs to be proved.

Lawyer is correct. But, Spoiling relations by such divorce will complicate the matter for your friend due to increase in ill will. Instead, your friend much win over his wife's trust and be a good husband. Also, the court will decide the dowry case, the divorce wont have any positive impact on the case as parties will be at headlock. Also, if your friend wishes to remarry this wife after divorce, it is a complicated process.

OThanks for the reply.. can you explain in detail about divorce in muslim law? and after that how to get out of this case...what is the procedure how to follow? Please clarify in detail...please reply.

@ Challa, I believe you're a female and deeply in love with Mr.Khan. Let Mr.Khan decide upon the future don't involve and spoil their future .

He can come out the of Divorce case, but but but. Dowry case can go for 4-6 years to decide. If he marries you and he still has an opportunity of one more talaq where you wll be heading.

If in case what Sandy says is true - My advice is you not to be a source for discomfort for other people (particularly other women).You never know another woman may approach the same forum asking how to get divorce from you...ALLEGING you have a psychological problem.Things would look rosy now but not for very long.
