That cannot be a ground for seeking dispense of personal appearance in court u/s 205 Cr.P.C. think about some other ground, namely: health, old age, business commitment, official position or any other valid reasons.

Personal exemption is right since the attendance of the accused is needed at the time of evidence only as per law.
Supreme court has time and again given directions for grant of exemptions when advocate is there particularly is summons matters and non serious matters which are not for murder, rape etc.
