Sir/Madam My friends mother purchased 1000sq ft land in Pune Maharashtra in 1995 and registered saledeed was made but her name was not updated on 7/12 in talathi office. Now after 17 yrs when my friend went to see the land he was told by talathi office that the perticuler land in going to go under military land and military will pay land owners as per government value which in vary less also there is no such notifications on 7/12. He wants the perticuler land as that is the only property that they have. 1) Can he update his mothers name on 7/12 after 17 yrs ? If yes, how ? 2) If the said news is right about the land going under military what possible things he can do ?or Should do ? PLEASE ADVICE
