Can i claim my grandfather property

Dear Sir/Mam,

My name is Pradeepa working in agriculture sector. We have one acre of land in Bangalore and located besides my mother brother's land. My mother was passed away in 2009 after that  I was planning to sell that property but my mother brother  was not allowing me to sell my property , he occupied my property and he is locally dominant.

Now i am planning to file a case against my mother brother to claim my grandfather self aquired property (Grand father and Grand mother was no more). Since, my mother was passed away could i eligible to claim that property and how ???

After death og grand father & grand mother prperty will be going to your father, After him it will go to your mother, than after it will wested in yu and your brther , sister.

In this way you are entitle to get the said property of your grand father.

First see whats name is mention in khatouni. if your name not mention in said khatouni than you may file case against your brother.

if your name is in khatouni than no prolem you may entitle to sell your property.
