Liability for principal employer for contracted labour

Hi,

I wanted to understand all the acts under which Principal Employer is liable for contracted labour like transport drivers etc.

Is there any exhaustive listing for that?

Would appreciate quick response as I am in middle of an audit assignment.

There is no exhaistive list of labour legislation.

Principal employer is responsible for all the liabilities with no right to select the employee.
