Regarding contested divorce

My wife wants to give me a divorce forcefully but I don't like to give divorce..she always insist on me to give her a divorce..
She is now saying to go for contested divorce
if she will take contested divorce
do I have to give maintenance to her also?

we have one year child

Your wife has a right to divorce you and you can not avoid it. She has a legal right to demand maintenance under mutual or contested divorce petition.

Section 125 (4), CrPC states, "No Wife shall be entitled to receive an allowance from her husband under this section if she is living in adultery, or if, without any sufficient reason, she refuses to live with her husband, or if they are living separately by mutual consent."
