my advocate is not filing written statement .

I was defendant in one civil partition case was filed 8 months back.subsequently I appointed one lawyer and given wakalthnaama. he neither submitted written statement nor responding me. I was become expartee. dear experts plz guide me how furtherly proceed

File Interim Application for setting the ex parte aside either in person after withdrawing your Counsel or through him.

Generally WS need to be filed within 30 days and it can be extended for a period of 90 days at the discretion of court.

You need not worry the said ex-parte order can be set aside and you can file WS.

It is better to engage another prudent local lawyer to get the ex-parte order recalled and WS to be taken on record.

Meanwhile file appropriate case/complaint against present lawyer.

It is advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/documents, guidance and proceeding.
