clarification required on defendant written statement time period, tenant, west bengal

hi we are defendants of eviction suit and facing lots of trouble from communication problem with lawyer who wont tell us whats required of us so going to change lawyer asap. our written statement 90 days gets over this monday and we just heard our court will remain closed till monday so unfortunate for us and one person told us since we already got next hearing date past the 90 day period in july, we HAVE to file written statement by monday and cant get it extended to 120 days. though we will try our best to get our own statement drafted by another lawyer and submit by monday since current lawyer is writing wrong things maybe due to age, i want to confirm if it is true that statement time period cant be extended after hearing date is declared past the 90 day period. thank you for advice
