Always relatives or family members should not be the attesting wittnesses to the will.

She may be the attesting witness. People cannot be expected to ask random strangers to attest their signatures on wills. As such the said witnesses must be people who are reliable and trustworthy and hence the wife shall stand to be an able witness to the will.
