Divorce

what is the procedure to divorce from my wife & what is period will take the contest divorce under cruelty and dessertion from the court. if they taking so long period nearly two to three years can I file or put an affidavit to high court u/s article 228.because my present age about 42 yrs. if the divorce case got prolong how can lead my life. my parents are suffering from chronicle disease. for caring them can I go for second marriage. I am only son who takes care of parents. other one who stayed far from us.so please give good suggestion for me. thanking you.
