Recently, i have won a civil case which was prolonged fro 7 yrs. Thanks to my advocate. But now i am very depressed and very much confused due to regarding the fees. During the time of all these years never we discussed about the fees for the particular case( previous case of mine has been handled by same adv but failed) and after all the proceedings one day he said he needs a percentage of property if the case won. before the final verdict he claimed of rs 5 lac. I was literally shocked and after the verdict which was favourable he asked me give 5 lac in cash. I had no money or couldnt arrange this much of sum wondering why i should pay such a huge amount.I am willing to pay the fees but how much??
Is there any fixed amount to cases ?
Can transaction be done through bank?
Please advice...
