As far as I know, the rule of AB varies from state to state. In some states they give AB for 2-3 weeks, some for 3 months and some till the case is pending.
Could you please tell me the case in "Rajasthan". If the AB is given for the full pendency of my498a case, then I would go for that.

dear AB is not your right.
it depends upon the facts and circumstances of the case, whether to grant such concession or not.
dont think there you will be entitled to AB for offence under S.498-A for the full trial.
it is a discretionary remedy so better visit some local counsel to have appropriate advice as according the actual facts of the case.
