tobacco flavour for hookah selling in shop is legal ?
i want to open a tobacco shop
nearby police said u cannot open a selling shop for hookah flavours wgat act should i show to police for selling tobacco is not prohibited please sir relpy thank you
1) The legislation or the law governing sale of Tobacco is 'The Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products( Prohibition of Advertisements and Regulation of Trade and commerce production, supply and distribution) Act,2003
2)There is no law prohibiting sale of Tobacco.
3) Under section 6, only 2 restrcitions are given.
a) shopkeeper cannot sell tobacco to children below 18 years.
b) cannot open shop within 100 metres of Educational Institutions( schools, colleges etc.)
