dear advocates, I would like to know the time limit of the maintainace of the govt servant who has retired, i.e. how long his personal files should be kept after his retirement. I have been recently replied in RTI that files of a perticular officer have been destroyed and no record of the same has been kept. I have received an intimation that there is a judgement by the Hon.S.C. that the files of the govt servant should bemaintained till he receives pension after retirement. Will any body enlighten with the details of the judgement i. e. name of the party/parties, case no.,date of the judgement etc. I shall be highly obliged if the copy of the judgement/s is also mailed to my add i.e.antima74@gmail.com. Your action will help my father who is severe state of depression because of failure in the court fighting with the IAS officer. thnx
