festival sound

sir/madam , good evening I would like to know we are willing to arrange DJ.sound system along with dance program in dance both male+female only cinema songs ...not more than that no...bad activity ...here my question is , is it compulsory to take police from local ps or not tell me sir....give me clear guidence sir.

Permission from Police is a must. Timings, venue, the total decibels generated, the hosts, the purpose etc. are important to get the permissions. Remember, there will also be secret checks that it is not a Rave party. It is just a routine exercise and you have to apply to DSP of your jurisdictional police and normally a decision will be communicated within 3 days from receipt, but the application has to be made well in advance.
