My Father in law is a farmer in Gujarat, having a land more than 1.00.00 ( Hector, Are, sq m). This land is a joint farm for his family. We want to get my wife's name in 7/12, so that she becomes a farmer and we(my wife and me) can buy agricultural land on our own.
For this we are planning to buy one piece of land in my father in law's name. He will give in varsa to my wife.
After that my wife will have her own name in 7/12 and own Khedut Pothi (sort of passbook).
What is the minimum area in ( Hector, Are, sq m) should we buy.
