False evidences produced in the court

Dear Experts,

My mother had an agricultural land in our village. After her death in 2008, my cousins got the property transferred in their name by producing false evidences in the court of Nayab Tehsildar claiming them to be the legal heir to my mother . We challenged the court's order and got the order cancelled.

To expose the corruption and illegal actions of revenue officials and my cousins I have submitted an application to the District Magistrate, requesting him  to conduct an inquiry in this case and punish the culprits as per law.

I hope that the inquiry will be conducted and my cousins will be booked as per law.

Please advise:

1. Am I right in hoping so?

2. What legal options are there? I believe submitting false evidences in the court is a punishable crime.

Thanking you all in the anticipation of quick reply.

With Best Regards,

Sanjeev Srivastava
