In 2009, thru a marriage mediator i have angaged with a family, later after a month i didnot like my father in law nature and his family nature including her (my wife), & i requested to stop this marriage as the date is not confirmed yet.
But, under some forces & threatens from the girls side i had no way except to marry her. In May-2010-30th i have been married & from then there is no physical relation between both of us & she is staying with me all these 2years & tried a lot to change me, but due to hesitation on her i had never touched her nor even argued with her.
Now at present she finally demanded Rs:5 laks as compensation (including 1.5 lak dowry+marriage expenses) & in single settlement. I negotiated & requested for Rs:2 laks with a time of 1.5 year.
As this arguments are going on day by day, on may-03-2012 she filed a 498A IPC at mahila PS on ME, my MOM & my brother. the complaint is :
"My husband is not caring about me since marriage, & due to forced marrigae by their parents, His Mother & Brother are harrasing me for DOWRY. He is making phone calls with his freinds & asking to sleep with them, His parents are also encouraing him & demanding me to do so. Recently we have given 50,000 & he is asking for more. Hence i am harrased with them a lot, my father gave him 50000 cash + 50000 household items + spended 2.50 laks towards marriage expenses. so please arrest them".
The police has filed IPC 498A, and sent remand for 15days whereas i was bailed within 4days & came out & present the police are preparing charge sheet stating that my mother & brother innocent in this case and eliminate them.
Sir, with regd to the above conditions can i apply for divorce...? Pls reply..
