Ex employer not co-operate in bgv process

Hi,

Can anyone suggest me what action should a employee take if their ex employer is not responding in BGV process.

I have all the necessary documents from that company also bank statement. But till my current employer wants a email confirmation.

I have been called/sent messages and emails so many times to that employer but no response.

Please someone help me what action I can take against this kind of nonsense.
