dear all,
Divorce is done,judgement has been passed and dissolution of divorce paper is their with the petitioner.
My Question is...
What is the validity of divorce certificate.
How long does it take to get the certificate.
Without the certificate can still the fear be there for the divorce to be questioned.
My lawyer is lingering to get the certificate.Can i apply the certificate of my own and get it.

Dear Sir/Mam
It is not certificate but it is called as Decree copy or if it is from family court then it is called as Award If affect one can marry after 30 days from the date of pronouncing the judgment. Even you can file personally a copy application with assistance of another advocate even without getting no objection from the previous advocate
