Sir,
a APstate Government employee in commercial tax dept with desegnation as Sr.Asst,naminations sent for promotion as ACTO due to adequacy in rule of reservation to ST post was converted into oc categary it has to be given to him ,due to claim of a st employe it was kept abeyance is it corect?

ST post cannot be converted to OC. It has to be kept vacant till a suitable candidate is available. The promotion appears to be illegal.
