Hello,

Generally, a deceased person cannot be prosecuted for the crimes committed by him/her. However in case the successor in interest is affected by his conviction or acquittal, then with their permission, the dead person can be prosecuted for a criminal offense.

Your question is unclear. Did the deceased die while electricity theft? or he died after it ?

Please clarify your question

Regards

Joy Bose
