Distribution of property among six brothers

I want to know few thing about property distribution experts :

1. Rules or law for Distribution of Govt. alloted land among six brothers whose father was expired 14 years ago.

2.There was no will made by father, land was divided equally among all with their mutual understanding.

3. Is there any rule that father property is divided equally among all brothers?

First of all you have to obtain legal heir certificate that you six brothers are the legal heirs of your deceased father , after obtaining legal heir certificate you all six apply for mutation of your deceased fathers property equally in your all six names accordingly for that you can submit a map of the land and indicate your share with colours and then get it mutuated in your names , second option after obtaining legal heir certificate you can make a family settlement deed and submit it in the court of civil judge to order in yours favour .
