Designation different in offer letter and company portal

Hi,

I am working in a company since last 4 years, in my offer letter my designation is Senior Systems Engineer. Where as in internal company portal it shows as Test Support Specialist. I am now working as an Application Developer in Organization. Still I have around 60 days notice period to serve in my organization. I have informed the same to my manager to change designation, it cannot be Test Support Specialist. He said he will be modifying it, but I doubt him.

Please suggest.

It is vaguely remembered that a similar query has been discussed in the past and designation was not amended by Line Managers, HR personnel.

Don’t remain entangled with Line Managers, HR personnel if they are not your appointing authority.

Take screenshot and send an email from official email id and take printouts.

Likewise if you have submitted resignation from email id, or by Resignation tool software take printouts.

Notice of resignation, resignation etc are personal matters and can be communicated from personal email id however these should be preferably supplied by letter addressed to appointing authority, MD by Redg. post.

Submit a gentle representation to them narrating all previous representations and attach copies of various designations, period etc and demand to amend the internal record and retain POD and also certified copy of run sheet of postman. The sub postmaster can attest the copies inserted in envelope in his presence.
