Hi,
I stayed in a house on rent for 11 months. I was paying advance rent of 7000/month and made an advance of 15,000/-. On December last year I paid my rent and issued notice that I will vacate on 31st January, 2015. On mid Jan, my landlord said I was not making prepayment as agreed. He totally disagreed and informed he wont return the advance as he has deducted Dec and Jan rent(He said the rent I paid on Dec was the postpaid rent of Nov). Now he threatened me and asked 5000 approx towards painting and cleaning. I had no money and therefore left the room on 23rd Jan without informing him. Now he is calling and threatening to file and FIR or lodge a complaint against me and also he is harassing me. Please advise.
