Daughter's right in grand mother's property

My wife's grand mother owned a property, now  her mother is the custodian, ownership  not changed. Please clarify if  my wife  and her  three sisters along with her one brother will get equal share of this property or my motherinlaw has to write a will to all of them. Can she deprive her daughters any their share in the property.

Your mother in law cannot deprive the children. She cannot write a will because she has inherited it. All your mother in laws children will inherit the property equally. your mother in law cannot deprive the daughters of their share.

Sir,

Pls calrify if her son ( my mother in law's son) manages to get her signature to take the entire property in his own name, is it legally valid?

Now he wants to construct a small room on top( already 3 bed rooms both in ground & first floor each)  probably to show that he has invested in it  or  to show expenditure on it, will it have any bearing on the heirs( daughter's share)

Thanks

Ravindra
