Correction deed required if the payment method has changed

Hi All,

I have recently done an agreement for the sale of an apartment ( I am the buyer). I had provided cheques to the builder for down payment and the same cheque numbers were mentioned in the agreement. Unfortunately my cheques were old (non-CTS) and the builder's bank does not accept them anymore. Now I am paying the down payment via RTGS/NEFT.

Could you please suggest if I shall get a correction deed on my agreement to mention that RTGS was used for payment instead of cheques? Please help.

Thanks for your guidance!!
