Court marriage

Hi I am rabia from srinagar kashmir I have done court marriage and nikah in the high court srinagar on August 2023but we are living separately in our respective homes..Time passes everything was good but because of some misunderstandings my husband is now refusing of that agreement as per him he said that was a forced marriage and nothing more than that

Although I have all the original documents with me

What should I do now being a girl I don't have discussed it with my parents yet and I don't know how to deal with it

Kindly provide conclusions

  1. A court marriage is legal.
  2. Its done in presence of witnesses.
  3. Normally there should be a 30 day notice period.
  4. You can submit an a petition in the district court for restitution of conjugal rights for unjustified withdrawal from his duties.
  5. If he says he was forced, then he has to prove it in court.

You have done acourt marriage besides a Nikah was conducted, hence this is a substntial evidence to establish your marriage with him.

You can file a RCR petition before court for restitution of conjugal rights 

If he is not responding then you can give a complaint before police for the acts of cheating and breach of trust too
