It appears there is an inordinate delay but the reasons are not known.
If you feel that the delay is due to other side and they not responding to court hearings properly, you may ask your advocate to put pressure on court to either allow the prosecution to close their evidence and pass an order or to insist on the respondent to expedite their side trial.
If necessary you can approach high court with a petition seeking expeditious trial.
