KVS recruitment for Principal , direct recruitment advertisement is asking following experience:-
Person currently holding analogous post in pay level -12.
Query:- On one side KVS saying it's direct recruitment, on the other side they are saying should be currently serving in pay level 12.
Currently serving means deputation, as per government Recruitment Rules para 28 and 29 of DoPT policy on Recruitment Rules it is deputation.
So is not this advertisement wrong technically.

So what is your query, are you an aspiring candidate for direct recruitment or looking for deputation through your employer?
You may apply for the post on the direct recruitment basis if you qualify for the post, let the board decide on your application.

The candidates who are / were in pay level 12 and want to switch over to KVS are eligible to apply which would be a fresh appointment.
