error in 138 legal notice

i have sent a legal notice to the accused same is served, there after i came to know that there is a typographical error the bank name mentioned as state bank of india instead of karnataka bank
kindly let me know whether i have to send rejoinder notice to the accused?
any legal hurdles?

If there is an error in your notice the accused can take advantage of that. If the time is not up send a fresh correct notice. Otherwise ?????

Its not a Typographical mistake it's a blunder mistake so initiate a Fresh action instead of earlier one.

Dear Querist,

 

you can rectify your mistake while filing a complaint before the concerned court and put the correct date in your affidavit of evidence as well as complaint. Because it has happened due to a mistake relating to the date of cheque it does not cause any prejudice to the accused if it is rectified in your complaint and affidavit.
