Hello Expert,
My friends' wife staying separately for last 2 years has filed a number of cases against him of sec 125 crpc and also running 2-3 cases for maintenance in the lower and upper court. can we suggest him for divorce case as a final case so that we can get a stay from all these cases and one standard case will be for divorce to get it rid of this multiple hurdle or any other strong solution for this

I highly recommend to file for divorce which, however, helps in the least to obtain Stays.

Your friend can follow the advise of his lawyer he is better to judge the situation in given circumstances,however just filing the divorce petition will notb releave you from maintenance case,it will ad one case to your friend roster.

yes but divorce can be filed in based on cruelty and harassment basis where there is no question of maintenance till the hearing completes plus his wife is working professional and her own flat

At this stage your "friend" has the only option to move for divorce.
Do not get perturbed with affairs of your "friend".
Let your "friend" seek advise of her counsel.
