Whether propsing any marraiage leads to jail?

Depends upon the language of the letter. There is a difference between a proposal and putting pressure and showing emotions without proposal to marry. If the boy was so serious, he could have made proposal for marriage with the girl before the parents of the girl, not the girl herself.

If he love her really he ask her that he has like to friendship with her and then he know she is love him at that time u proposed her for marriage but never write any letter becuz u not konw tha nature of girl and in that time she understand some wrong and take a action agaist u so better first u know she's closed  friend's and inform him /her about question then u propose her. And mind well at the time of propose u can use language  very simple and beautiful with her.

..... there is nothing wrong in proposing marriage to a girl ........ but the act should be within the limits of decency ...... one does not commit any offence by proposing marriage to a girl ..............

Why dont you ask your friend to ask his parents to take his proposal to the girls House. In any case he can propose but the proposal should be within the limits of decency.

Better to talk with the parents of the girl.
