power of attorny

Sir,

1)Is it necessary to register power of attorny dealing with landed property (Tamil Nadu) sales to be registered with the sub-registrar/ registrar of land sale registration? and if registration is mandatory, is it permitted to registyer with any registrar irrespective of where the land is situated?

Yes the power of Attorney has to be registered in your case and the same has to be registered with the office of Registrar within whose jurisdiction that immovable property is situated

POA can be executed and registered any where in India, there is no bar on the same.

Hi everyone,
My daughter is an american citizen of Indian origin and wishes to buy an apartment preferably in her name in Bangalore for which she wants to give me power of attorney. Can someone send me the format. She will be remitting us dollars and wants to make sure that after my demise she can sell the flat and remit it back to US in foreign currency. Can I register the apartment with my name appearing first and my daughter as second. She will not be able to come to India for this purpose.
thanks Vaidyanathan

Mr Vaidyanathan your query is contradictory, whether you want the flat in your name or in your daughter's name or in your name, clarify for better advise and guidance because importantly the procedure would differ in both cases.

Is power of attorney (for sale of immovable property) can be registered in faridabad (haryana) now a days? I heard that govt. have closed to provide power of attorney. Thanks Manish
