Company not giving Reliving letter please help

Dear All,

Please help me i m working as software Developer since 4 yr in same company and i got better opprtunity elsewhere i m ready to serve 1 month notice period but my company HR is telling me to serve 2 month notice period as per appointment letter clause.i have my 45 PL left which they are ready to pay back but cant adjust in notice period,

will u please me to get out of this situation because i really dont wanna miss this new opportunity and also my new company will not employee me without reliving letter and experience letter

HI Sneha,

I am not a lawyer. But according to me you should negotiate with your company and say that you will serve

1. one month notice period and transfer the responsibilities.

2. Pay 'x' for the remaining 1 month as per your appointment terms.

Since you need the formal release letter and  experience certificate try to negotiate and work for smooth relieval.
