cihild custody

my child is 6 years old and we have been married for 7 years. I fear may be sometime in the future she may leave to stay at her maternal home. In that case would i be able to claim custody of child

Sir both you and your wife are the natural guardians of the child, you can definitely ask for the custody for the child. But granting the custody depends on the reasons you give to prove how you are the better guardian compared to your wife. Incase, you fail to get the custody, then , you can apply for visiting rights as well.

Hi,

The welfare of the child is seen as the paramount condition, along with better parenting skills as well as the love of the child towards the parents. This is very difficult for men as they hardly get the custody of the child
