I have 15 acres of farm land in Tamil Nadu , to solve the water problems I am planning to purchase a land which is 1 Km away from the existing land. I enquired with PWD , Revenue on the feasibility of approval and got confirmation that no issues and they will be able to provide approval for piping , but here comes the real challenge.
Look like the land I am planning to purchase is a ceiling land ,The current owner has purchased from some other party and has patta and chitta on his name and there is not a problem with registration.
But the challenge on the ground is revenue department is not ready to transfer the patta and chitta on my name and they are asking me to get NOC from sub collector office.
When I enquired on the Sub collector office got the massage that still they are verifying the old transactions and it will take another 1 years to complete the process. To apply for new NOC thay are asking me to wait for next one year or else asking me to bring the old NOC,but unfortunatly all the old transactions happed till date doesn’t have any NOC from collector office.
Please let me know is there any alternative way to get the NOC or way to speed up the process.
