One is not required to be legal expert to know that fishy is going on and that laws like domestic violence (misused frequently) have actually been enacted for benefit of women like you.

AS far as gold is concerned you are entitled to have both gold gifted by your relatives , he and his relatives and detention thereof  is non-bailable offence.

 

You are entitled for maintenance which may not be half salary.

 

SInce you have access to internet please read domestic violence act.

Sorry to be direct but from your reports it looks to be either of 3 things:-

1. Husband is involved in extra-marital affair and is not interested in you.

2. Husband is an emotionless selfish guy and so looks to be his family.

3. both 1. and 2.

Either of the 3 choices are extremely extremely bad for your future. The way his family is treating you (locking you up etc) amounts to DV and/or cruelty of the highest order.

Advice you to take your parents help and file multiple cases against Husband and his family against as per Indian laws. (First go away to your parents house as soon as possible).

I am at my parents home since 1/9/14 till dt.. earlier my hubby has sms me he will come to take me inbetween any dt frm 4 to 8 oct now he is refusing and msging he shall inform after 13 (probably) when he can come...

he dont pick any of our (me/my papa/landline) no so i called on his office landline.. he picked and said he cant come before i said 11 is karvachauth (my 1st ) our marraige has completed today 3 month but he is cold eharted dont feel anything he banged phone and said dont call on office hrs n no need to call i shall inform .

My whole fmly is worried.. i dont want divorce i want marraige to continue but how i m not knowing...i explained my case here to get help if they must be planning for any such legal action so we can be well prepared.. cause for him even karvachauth is not big thing.. we are northindians its the most important fast for any girl /women ...

help me pls

Today is karvachauth n my hubby has not come to take me back at matrimonial home.....nor does my MIL picked phone to guide me puja of today's.... can I take legal action?

What case can we file ? N can we file case in Gujarat or we need to go Rajasthan ?
