Can a govt. doctor can do private practise ?

A Government Doctors can have Second Income ,???? if they can as per which circular ,if they are not eligible than ???? please say with Go's or Clauses please

The rules of govt under which doctor is employed may be referred.

It may not be permitted.

Usually Non Practise allowance is paid.

EVEN IF THERE IS NO NPA IS PAID THEY ARE GOVT SERVANTS AND CANNOT HAVE ANY OTHER SOURCE OF INCOME S LAID DOWN IN CCS(CODUCT) RULES. Apllicable in centre and indentical provisions in states.
