Notice from police

Dear Sir,

One of my associate has made application thru local police station starting that I have done cheat (matter is not elobarated in this notice),

It could be matter of chq bounce, or it could be matter of money took from him.

If I failed to convince them on their any argues, Will they put me in bars immediately? What precautionry steps should I take, pls suggest

The earlier post in this thread was pertaining to business advertisements.

Now to this query:

If you have received notice from police you better attend the police station and take time for settlement or inform them that it is a false complaint however you will challenge it in the court of law accordingly.

There won't be any arrest just on the basis of a complaint given by someone.

If the situation warrants, you may better obtain anticipatory bail and challenge the case in trial proceedings.

Take anticipatory bail from court so that you are not arrested by police in any false case against you.

Police can not take any action against you on your associates complaint for cheating ( cheque bounce matter or loan amount not return ) acton can only taken by courts so do not worry.
