Arrears of salary - wrongful termination

Dear Friends,

I have a question for everyone. In case a person receives arrears of salary as a result of a suit award after a period of 31 years on wrongful detention of employment, what all deductions is he allowed. Is he allowed a deduction of the charges of the suit? or any other expenses which he incurred on winning of suit? please help! :-)

Only deductions on an yearly basis. Lump sum deduction is not admissable. Rebate also [if applicable] on yearly deductions. Requires calculations. If Income Tax authorities act tough and stupid then move a SLP in the Supreme Court of India against the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax but make sure that he's the only party and don't make more than one official a Party.

Charges of the Suit. Add an I.A for costs.
