Applicability of pf

we are doing contract work which was outsourced by the company. Our employees are less than 20 members working in the premises of that company with out contract licence. The company pay the pf to their employees i.e., other than our contract employess. Are we come under purview of the pf act. Wud u please suggust for us.

whether PF is being deposited in EPFO by the Principal employer?

whether the total strength of employees (including outsourced) is more than 20?

dear sir

The contract employees are also covered under epf act. The principle employer has to deduct the statutory contribution from your bill and has to remit to epf in their pf code number. Its illegal, if company workers covered under epf act but contract workers not covered epf act those who are working in the same factory.
