Add wive's name while registering a flat post possession,


I had bought an under construction flat from a builder.The sale deed is in my name only. I have taken a home loan from a private bank.

Can I add my wive's name along with mine when I get the registry done for that flat after possession is given by the builder.

if you add your wife's name at the time of flat registration, then she will have joint right over the property.  so if you wish, you can.  this is for information.

Thanks for replying.

Yes I want her to have that right.

My only concern is that the sale deed prepared during booking of flat was in my name only.

Is there any rule which says that the flat can be registered only in the name of those people who have their name in the sale deed.
