@ Prasad – A coin has two sides meaning your story has 2 ways.
a) If you go to India and then you can talk to her and see what she is interested in, you can sense and guess it, continue working in India.
b) If she writes a letter and attempts suicide in India, then you can fight and of course there will be legal troubles and hazards.
c) Or this just might be a threat call or an emotional drama.
d) You can also inform (lie) her that your project is complete and I will be returning to India. See what she says.
Now if you bring her to USA.
1 Then if she attempts suicide or does something crazy, you will be worried, every day you will be walking on eggs and you know never know when it breaks, and you walking with hot fire on top of your head. You might be in big trouble. Point b.
2 In USA you will have Friends to help, but it will not be that easy going to see doctors, courts and attorneys and jail.
What you should have done?
When your wife abused your Mother. Your Mother should have filed a Domestic Violence case on her.
You should have been contacting her regularly. Ok past is Past.
As per Advocate’s advice – Ask her to mend her ways by sending a legal notice.
Record all the conversations and also video record them. Contact her Family members and inform them. If they assure you by written nothing will happen, then you can take a step.
The root cause of the Problem is she is in depression and not mentally strong.
She has to go to for a treatment via a Psychiatrist and develop her will power to come out of it. This would be from Childhood and nobody would have taken care to mend her ways. Even their Parents wouldn’t have known.
There is a Proverb in Telugu – If it doesn’t bend when it is a plant, then how will it bend when it is a Tree.
She may not listen meeting Psychiatrist and remember even though you have insurance they are expensive and also think of your child.
Also remember in USA if she is cunning and rude she might call cops and put a case on Domestic Violence.
You might lose job, then again Courts and attorneys.
In this world of instability, anything can happen.
