Revision in dv

Dear experts

DV was filed on Aug-12 against me and interim maintenance order came in Feb-15 Rs 5K per month from the date of filing. till now 36 months arrear due.

our adv suggested to go for revision petition because more than 12 months arrear cannot be ordered.

Is there any judgement or possibility

You can apply for execution, but if husband does not have money or is ill, court cannot force him to pay.

Ask your advocate under which Act and which Section arrears of maintenance passed under DV Act, for more than 36 months cannot be asked in the court of law? I haven't come across any such provision.
