Police Report - How to get information on “TIME LINE” basis?

Dear Panellists,

Please suggest what options are available to the complainant to obtain information on “Time Line”

The query was asked in the RTI plea is as under:

Sub: Request for information: for the cases inquired / investigated and police report submitted by the concerned IO involving Sri XXXXX as complainant or as opposite party.

Concerned PS: Bxxxx

Please provide information for below* referred cases on the following:

Queries:

1) When the information about the above mentioned case(s) was communicated to opposite party / parties?

2) How the information about the above mentioned case(s) was communicated to opposite party / parties?

3) How & when statement(s) by the complainant(s) and opposite parties were taken/recorded for the above mentioned cases?

Below is reply from SPIO read as under:

“This is to apprise that after completion of enquiry and investigation all the reports were sent to respective Courts for kind consideration of Ld Court.

Now the records were lying with Ld Court of respective jurisdictions as all the reports and Challans in final form were already been sent and now no record is available at Bxxxx P.S.” Un-Quote

If you are not satisfied with the information provided by the information officer, you may prefer an appeal giving reasons for the appeal. The appeal can be preferred immediately within one month.

Sir,

SPIO is saying that the information is with respective Ld. Courts - Is this correct?

1) Whether IO is supposed to maintain records (with date and time) like when he contacted OP for enquiry / investigation, visited / called OP/complainant for statements / informations?

2) Am I right in my understanding that information sought is related with case diary? If YES then where to find case diary in court records OR case diary is with IO?

Please guide.
