If dues paid but rate of interest nt paid thn m i defaulter

Hi

Society had suddenly increased the maintenance and i had objection to that so i had not paid the increased maintenance but was always paying the normal maintenance with registar.

But now i have cleared all the pending increased maintenance money and paying the regular increased maintenance.

But on the increased + regular maintenance society is charging me rate of interest which i m against.

so not paying the rate of intrerest but paying the dues on time will that still make me defaulter.
