CHS committee acting as Dictator

We have been staying at our flat since 10 years. Children play in the garden and on the path in front of the garden. Recently Society constructed a small netted area in front of the main gate and put a notice that children can ONLY play cricket there. The net is in front of the main gate and twice children have been knocked by cars. Due to this we requested the society to allow kids to play in the garden or path in front of garden. They refused flatly. We quoted laws which state that children cannot be restricted from playing within society. When we didn�t back down, the Aociety said they would take a vote. SGBM was conducted in March and members voted that children cannot play football on the garden. But majority also voted that children CAN play on the path in front of the garden. When committee sent the minutes they left out the second vote results. When we emailed about this, they said �vote was taken, but Chairman asked who will take responsibility for children�s safety if they play on the path. No one took responsibility so house decided that children will not be allowed to play�. There was no discussion after the vote. When we tried to record the meeting, we were told it�s illegal and asked to stop. Other members are too scared of committee to oppose them. And we are left fighting alone. - When the conclusive vote was taken can the committee make a statement like this and over rule a legitimate vote ? - Secretary has resigned. Committee appointed new secretary of its own choice without due process. When we questioned by email, subsequently they have sent a mail about resignation of old secretary and if anyone wants to apply. And subsequent mails were signed as Acting Secretary. There is gross misconduct on multiple occasions. - Society Committee and a few residents met unofficially to discuss children play query. This was before the SGBM. However in the SGBM minutes they wrote that my family was abusive in that meeting. We have an audio recording of that informal meeting and it is very clear that no one was abusive. We asked them to edit the minutes but they have refused even though we have proof. We now feel harassed and tortured. The committee has illegally occupied parking spaces of members who are residing elsewhere. They drive at high speeds within the society. When we told them that we will take legal action and the courts can decide if children can play or not. They told us that we are threatening them. As a citizen don�t I have legal recourse as a right ? We are disturbed by this whole event. The committee has ganged up. And some members are siding them. Other members agree with us but are too scared to challenge the committee directly. Please advise.
